We just received an early version of the January issue of Model Airplane News. Unbelievable cover of the new BH Models T-28, a Hobby People exclusive. We brought in the BH line of ARF airplanes a few months ago after deciding they were some of the best flying, best looking ARFs we have seen. We sent one of our early production airplanes to Model Airplane News for review, and were stunned to hear they were going to put it on the cover as well as doing a full review.
I hope you all get an opportunity to see the cover as it is really fantastic, some of the best photography I have seen in a RC magazine. The review was very positive as well, confirming what our customers have been saying, the T-28 is just a great airplane. The good news is that we are back in stock, however, demand has soared for this airplane as so many modelers have discovered its great characteristics. We have stock now, but we are just about sold out. We have literally just about sold out of our shipment in the 10 days since it arrived, and we will be out soon. I am sorry for those that will have to backorder the airplane, please know we are doing our best to expedite shipments. Thank you again for your support, and great flying.

Without going into long details and boreing the general population I will come straignt to the point and tell you how Hobby People again have shown supurb customer service. When I get the idea that I want something I don’t beat around the bush I Get er Done.
For what ever reason the T-28 seems to be a very popular model to the point that Hobby People can’t keep them in stock. But I Want One!
So I call Hobby People on the land line and says to them Hey whats the chance you have a T-28 in your back room that is not a complete model. One that you have been scarfing parts from. They say Oh Ya we have one. I say what all is there. They say everything but the cowling. I say How much. They say well lets see what we got here. They say I get the Fusalage no damage Wing no damage all the hardware no damang Covering is complete no damage Everything is just like new no damage the only thing missing is the cowling. I say cut to the chase How Much. They say hows $80.00 sound to me. I say Get er Done. End of story. Just goes to show you that if you want something bad enough you can most likely count on Hobby People to Get er Done. Now if you want the longer version of how Hobby People have treated me in the past on at least 6 different ocations you can contact me at DoneRightSigns@Netzero.net or call me at 928-753-1463

Hi, I have been flying the BH T-28 for about 3 weeks now with an electric system featuring Li-Ion cells, five of them. The motor is a 4120-7 with a 13-7 prop. This is what I have found, As is, the plane flies very scale. I once owned a full scale Fennec (French T-28) and flew it for several years. I am going to double the ma hours with another bank of cells. Motor is plenty powerful. No issues in the flying but would like to mention that the model I have has super soft leading edge sheeting and will crack with a simple touch. I just hit the wingtip on a landing and it cracked the leading edge and the double spar. It was easily repaired but the wing construction is super weak. Would I buy another, absolutely, one of the best ARFS I have ever assembled. My next one is going to have retracts, sheeted wing and a larger motor. I am going to use the camo scheme used in Vietnam. To Norm Goyer
Hey Norm Give me some feedback on your T-28 I went through mine and found the same wing problem as you and I to think the wing is built much too week. I intend to buy another one and make the wing completely sheeted for better strength.
I installed retracts in my t-28 and it was a big job to come up with a way to do it but I got it done. I used mechanical retracts with retract servo in the wing and one servo in the fusalage for the nose wheel. I used a new line of landing gear struts form Golden Skies Rc .com. The price is right. $39.00 for a set of 3 landing gears. The wheel actually sets back behind the strut itself and bends at the knee. This throws the wheel behind the original setting position on the planes design but thats OK This causes the plane to rotate at a higher speed and not want to fly untill plenty of speed is obtained. This stops premature lift off and possible snap roll on take off. It’s smoother looking. Does that make sense? The gear is spring loaded so you don’t use the coil that is in the original landing gear wire. On take off you have a nice flying stable plane as you already know. But when the gear comes up you will notice a jumb in speed and a definite wanting to constantly climb. Thats OK Trim to fly level with gear up. Now cut the throttle and drop the gear. You will notice an amount of decent. Drop the flaps and your rate of decent is self adjusted for the gear drag and the plane will land almost by itself. Let me hear from you.
